HeartNavigator heart model

HeartNavigator

The HeartNavigator is a structural heart CT planning and live guidance solution using automatic heart model segmentation of anatomy to improve ease of use, speed and reproducibility of planning tasks, and adding the ability to overlay planned targets, landing zones and anatomical boundaries onto live fluoroscopy.

In TAVR, HeartNavigator enables:

  • Calcification distribution assessment
  • Fully automatic sizing and view planning
  • Virtual TAVR device visualization to examine anatomical fit
  • Automatic planning report
  • Table side recall of planned X-ray projections
  • Live overlay of segmentation to visualize landing zones, coronary ostia and annotations

Philips Interventional Hemodynamic system

Philips Interventional Hemodynamic system

Brings advanced hemodynamic measurements into the interventional lab to support clinical decision making. This system includes a patient monitoring device mounted at the table side and a workstation in the control room with a user interface designed to simplify hemodynamic monitoring and assessment. The users in the control room can also perform hemodynamic analyses and display them in the exam room. Displaying all relevant physiologic waveforms and analyses supports you in making a real-time assessment of the patient’s condition during an intervention.

  • Improved communication in the interventional lab by visualizing hemodynamic analyses in the exam room
  • Enhanced workflow through integrated valve gradient assessment
  • Confidently used by all staff members with minimal training

IntelliSpace Portal TAVI Planning

IntelliSpace Portal CT TAVI Planning

CT TAVI Planning on IntelliSpace Portal consists of four main elements to help you plan transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

  • 3D model-based segmentation and visualization of aortic valve annulus and other related structures required for TAVI procedure planning, including aortic valve calcifications. All for a clear understanding of patient's anatomy and pathology
  • Automatic annulus and aortic root-related measurements, together with peripheral vessels access route. These were demonstrated to be fast and reproducible (in comparison to one of the main competitors1)
  • Automated device-related measurements, vascular access route measurements, together with automatic generation of standard C-arm angles
  • IntelliSpace Portal supports communication to Philips Azurion image-guided therapy suites. The unique "interventional bookmark" (iBookmark) automatically launches relevant advanced analysis (CT TAVI Planning) before a procedure. This provides the interventional cardiologist with rich imaging information as the starting point of the procedure

The ability to treat one more patient per day, or in the future

This is just one of the many improvements in lab performance achieved by the Interventional Vascular Department at St. Antonius Hospital after installing the Azurion system. The first Azurion lab performance study achieved impressive results2 which have been verified by an independent third party.*

IntelliSpace Cardiovascular also interfaces with multiple third-party applications. It can be viewed and controlled from FlexSpot and FlexVision Pro of Azurion.

    EchoNavigator augmented visualization

    EchoNavigator

EchoNavigator reorients and combines ultrasound and X-ray information into a single augmented visualization for guidance and device-tissue relationship assessment.

In TAVR EchoNavigator enables the following to eliminate iodine contrast in patients with severely compromised kidney function:

    • Aorta and aortic valve segmentation from 3D TEE to determine optimal implant projections
    • Live-on-live fusion of fluoroscopy and ultrasound, including 2D, 3D and color flow, to visualize valve deployment
